Honey Bee Mason Jar Nipple Feeder 🖨️

With each order, you will receive the Feeder Nipples, not including the mason jar lid. MASON JAR AND LID NOT INCLUDED. This is so you can attach the Feeder Nipple to whatever lid you use at home.

The Feeder Nipples are sold in Lots of 5, 10, and 20. For bulk orders, please message me for additional Details, bulk pricing for quantities greater than 30.

Application:

1. Using a 15/64 drill, drill a hole into the Mason Jar lid.
2. Push the Nipple Feeder through the hole so that the ring is located on the inside of the lid leaving 1/4" for glue.
3. Use a hot glue gun, or super glue to adhere the Feeder Nipple onto the lid. Once the glue is applied to the lid, push the Feeder Nipple down onto the Lid.

These Honeybee Mason Jar Nipple Feeders are 3D printed from a PETG filament. PETG, or Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol, is a common thermoplastic polymer. PETG, unlike the more commonly used PLA filament, is UV resistant and holds up to much higher temperatures. It will not bend or warp if left in your car on a hot summer day. It is also a food safe plastic with many manufacturers, including the one I use, receiving FDA approval. The drawbacks to using PETG are that it is slightly more expensive and most definitely more troublesome to print with. I guess quality does come with a cost!

When buying this item it is important to remember that 3D printing is not a perfect science. The plastic string filament is melted at 450 degrees Fahrenheit and then extruded through the end of a hot brass nozzle. This results in slight imperfections that are noticeable up close, but in no way do they affect the strength or functionality of the item.
