Our limited run of Bourbon Barrel Aged Honey is aged to perfection. Our process of aging the honey in a bourbon barrel helps to bring out the unique flavor and aroma of the honey mixed with the flavor of a once used freshly poured bourbon barrel. After close to 4 months soaking in the barrel, the honey was poured into a bucket where barrel chunks were added for additional flavor.
Experience a richer and more robust flavor with this limited batch of Castle Hives Bourbon Barrel Aged Honey.
Each Jar will be bottled in a Unique Glass Jar with an Antique look. A wax sealed cork will ensure the flavor of this unique honey remains.

Great stuff! You won't be overwhelmed with the bourbon, but if you taste it along side of Brian's fantastic regular honey, it really pops. Ordering some more for gifts! And absolutely love the muth jar with the cork dipped in wax like a certain bourbon!
Mix with BBQ sauce, dip wings, sweeten a cocktail, on a biscuit... The profile is distinct and subtle at the same time. Love it

I've been looking forward to this since Brian announced it was going to happen. First off, the muth jar is great and dipped cork is a very nice touch. Brian's honey is some of my favorite anyway, but tasting this side by side really shows how much the barrel added. It is well worth the wait and exceeded my expectations. I'm giving folks a few days to jump on it and if for some reason it is still available, I will order more! Thanks Brian!
